The Pilgrim's Progress, Part II will be available to order on November 5, 2025. The books will ship out in mid-to-late November.

The books have left the printer and are en route to our warehouse in Texas! This means orders containing a pre-order will ship in mid-to-late November. 

All of our Legacy Editions have rounded spines with Smyth-sewn binding.

John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim's Progress in 1678, and six years later, in 1684, he wrote the sequel.

The first part followa Christian on his journey to the Celestial City, Part II follows Christiana, her children, and a group of pilgrims on their way to the Celestial City.

These complementary allegories depict two facets of our journey: the individual and the communal.

Our Legacy Editions of The Pilgrim's Progress are unabridged, as we have not removed, condensed, or taken out any portions of Bunyan's story.

Both Part I and Part II have been carefully updated and modernized. Meaning the older English words have been updated (i.e. "thou" to "you" or "durst" to "dare"). Idioms or phrases have been changed or noted in the margin so that the modern reader can understand the author's meaning. Some examples being: "notable rubs", "tender bowels", "gone a good stitch", or "shift for yourselves".

In Part II, we identified a few plot holes. These have been edited to provide clarity and unity in the story.

Overall, our aim was to keep the text as close to the original as possible, to help preserve the 16th-century feel of Bunyan's writing.
